Guns and Hoses Foundation of North Texas
Accepting Donations to Survivors Fund
(Dallas, TX) The Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas has activated its Survivors Fund in response to the death of Dallas Fire Department veteran, Stanley Wilson.
Wilson, was among the 100 Dallas firefighters who responded to a six-alarm fire at the Hearthwood Condominiums at 12363 Abrams Road Monday morning. Wilson radio’d in shortly before 5:30 a.m. that he was trapped and lost in the burning building, at which point his radio went dead. It’s believed he died when one of the floors collapsed.
Stanley was a 28 year veteran with the Dallas Fire Department and was stationed at Fire Station 53. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
The Guns & Hoses Foundation is asking the North Texas community to come together and help us raise funds for the families of our fallen heroes. All donations to the Survivors Fund are dedicated to the dependents of law enforcement officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Stanley Wilson and to all of the first responders who protect our communities.
The Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas was founded in 2002, as a nonprofit 501(c)3 foundation primarily committed to providing support and financial assistance to families of fallen fire and police officers, who have lost their lives performing their duty.
