Community & First Responders Come Together For Inaugural "Climb For Community".
Presented by the Zaxby’s Heart of Dallas Bowl, the Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas hosted their inaugural stair climb, Climb For Community, in the Cotton Bowl Stadium. The Climb For Community honored First Responders who have sacrificed their lives protecting our communities and offers support for their loved ones left behind.
On Saturday, November 26th, First Responders and members of the community came together for a morning of fitness and reflection. This family friendly event included a climb of over 3,100 steps, fire engine displays, a SWAT Bearcat, some snacks and drinks.
Several Firefighters took on the impressive challenge of completing the over 3,100 step stair climb in full gear, showing their respect and gratitude for those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. We want to thank all the participants who came out and showed their support. We are truly honored to be able to provide support for the families of fallen First Responders, which would not be possible without you support.
